Does the job, bit noisy though but can also work as aroma diffuser

I've only ever used this humidifier so I can't compare it with others. I've been using this for the last 2 weeks when the air has been getting dry as we approach winter. So far, so good. It does the job. My mouth doesn't feel as dry though I still need a drink in the night. I use the 30 sec timer at night so it lasts all night.
It is a bit noisy with the sound of trickling water every 30 - 60 seconds but it's not too bad if you have it across the room, away from your head.
I have it elevated, sitting on top of an upside down plastic vase on my dressing table so keep my dresser dry. When I had it directly on the dresser, the air outlet where the mist comes out of made my dresser wet.
I've also tried putting a few drops of Eucalyptus oil in the water container while I was recovering from a cold and it worked okay.
I didn't know you could put aromatherapy oil in it til I read the Instruction manual. I must say the Instruction manual isn't that great. It's just diagrams with no text. I had to google search for an online instruction manual, which mentioned in text that you can put some oil in it. See step 3 of http://duux.com/images/picture/duux_air_humidifier_user_guide_en.pdf
Even the Duux Australia Marketing guy on Facebook didn't know you could put a few droplets of aromatherapy in. He told me via FB message that you can't use it as a diffuser.

I have used every humidifier on the market and this one is the best I have seen so far. It looks great in the babies room as well. The nightlight is just the right shade of light if I need to come in the night to check on bub. Its super quiet so as not disturb, and by switching it to 30 second intervals, it lasts all night. Highly reccomend this to anyone with kids!

Just bought this product from the Sydney baby expo ... Very quiet, great for the kids (air seem to get dry with the heater on alot) It looks good in the room & very safe for the kids. I should of got a few more for other rooms too!
