Since its launch in 1979, Benzac® (benzoyl peroxide) has offered an effective treatment for acne.

Benzac AC® 5% Face and Body Wash

Benzac AC® 5% Face and Body Wash is a treatment for use in mild to moderate acne. The wash provides cleansing and treatment combined in one.
Benzac AC® products contain an acrylates copolymer. Acrylates copolymers are tiny highly porous beads that are so porous they can absorb up to four times their own weight in fluid. They soak up certain liquids quickly and easily, but are selective about what they can absorb. They can rapidly absorb oils, however, they can’t absorb water because water has a very high surface tension.
Also contains glycerin, which lubricates the skin, imparting a feeling of smoothness and softness.

INDICATION:

For use in the treatment of mild to moderate acne.

DIRECTIONS:

Wash affected areas once or twice daily. Rub in gently with finger tips and leave in contact with skin for 30 seconds; rinse off and pat dry. During the first weeks of treatment a sudden increase in peeling will occur in most patients, this is not harmful and will normally subside within a day or two if treatment is temporarily discontinued.

INGREDIENTS:

Active: Benzoyl peroxide 50mg/g. Inactives: Acrylates copolymer, glyercol, carbomer 940, sodium C14 – C16 olefin sulfonate, sodium hydroxide q.s or citric acid q.s for pH adjustment, purified water to 100g.
