Holle Organic Infant Goat Milk Formula is an alternate infant formula for children requiring a cow milk free diet. It can be used after breast feeding or after using the protein adapted Holle Organic Infant Formula 1 or 2 or another brand of formula to meet the growing nutritional requirements of your baby from 6 months of age. Unique qualities include ability to assist in the reduction of eczema and asthma in babies.

My baby had colic and had an extremely weak tummy. I have tried Nan HA and S26 Gold which both made her constipated. I tried the Holle goat and never looked back. I have read that goats is the easiest for their tummies to digest and there was no change in her bowl movements. Closest you will find to breast milk. I was planning on breast feeding until my child didn't need it anymore but unfortunately had to research for a substitute as I couldn't bf anymore (after 8 months of bf) This product is the closest formula to breast milk and was extremely happy with how there was no change in my child at all when switching to 100% Holle goat formula. Unlike other competitors Holle is 100% goats milk, the others hide the fact they are still cow milk based! My baby is mostly breastfed - 80% + and then a maximum of 20% formula.Rating
We tried a cows milk formula for his first 7 weeks, but he started to go longer and longer between poo's up to 8 days for the last.
He was very gassy and not sleeping so well.I knew there was a problem.
The goat protein, fats and lactose are more a match to my breastmilk than cows.
Because we are only adding 120-200mL to his diet (not soley using this formula as his only nutritional source), it is good option.
This formula has helped my baby be more compfortable and happier - sleeping better, and going more regulary (every day). (Posted on 9/12/2012)
