Ceramic Dome
The ceramic dome is an essential component of your Alps Water Filter, serving as the first stage in the filtration process.
Crafted from Diatomaceous Earth, the 0.2-micron Ceramic Dome Filter effectively removes impurities such as rust, dust, sand, silt, and harmful bacteria including cholera, typhoid, and coliforms.
For optimal performance, replace the ceramic dome every 6 months with proper care and maintenance.
Cartridge Filter
The cartridge filter is a vital element of your Alps Water Filter, featuring a six-stage filtration system designed to deliver exceptionally pure and healthy water:

Activated Alumina: One of the world’s most effective fluoride-reducing materials, made from aluminium oxide — the same substance found in sapphire and ruby.

Granular Activated Carbon (GAC): Removes volatile organic compounds (VOCs), pesticides, herbicides, chlorine, benzene, trihalomethanes (THMs), radon, solvents, and hundreds of other man-made chemicals.

Mineral Stones
Mineral Stones infused with nano silver particles help reduce bacteria while keeping your water fresh, alkaline, and naturally mineralised. Since tap water often contains contaminants and lacks essential minerals, re-mineralising after filtration is an important final step.
Our Mineral Stones are crafted from Elvan Stone (Mineral Adamantine Stone), which contains over 70% silica (SiO₂) and is finely pulverised for optimal performance. Rich in iron, magnesium, calcium, sodium, and potassium, these stones help raise the pH level and enhance the overall quality of your drinking water.
Each stone combines nano silver and mineralising properties, making them the only type you need for complete purification and revitalisation.
With proper care, Mineral Stones last between 18 and 36 months.
