Perio Plus Support Toothpaste contains 0.09% chlorhexidine (CHX) and the Citrox®/P formula to help reduce harmful oral bacteria while supporting healing after dental treatment. Enriched with hyaluronic acid, it promotes tissue regeneration and is ideal for use following dental procedures.

Unlike many conventional toothpastes, Perio Plus Support is free from sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS). This helps preserve the effectiveness of chlorhexidine mouth rinses, making it the ideal companion to any Perio Plus mouthwash.

Directions for Use

• Use in place of your regular toothpaste twice daily, morning and evening.

• Recommended duration of use: up to one month, or as directed by your dentist.

Advanced Antibacterial Protection

Perio Plus Support combines chlorhexidine with Citrox®, a natural bioflavonoid extracted from bitter oranges (Citrus aurantium amara). Citrox® has antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties that work alongside chlorhexidine for enhanced protection. Combined with natural polylysine amino acids, the Citrox®/P formula adheres to the teeth, gums and oral tissues for longer-lasting antimicrobial action.

Supports Healing

The addition of hyaluronic acid helps regulate moisture, encourages cell renewal and supports faster tissue regeneration, making Perio Plus Support particularly beneficial after dental surgery and other oral treatments.

Perio Plus Support is formulated to provide a pleasant taste without altering your normal sense of taste, making eating and drinking more enjoyable during treatment.

Minimising Staining

Temporary staining can occur with chlorhexidine use. To help minimise discolouration, avoid tobacco, coffee, black and green tea, red wine, berries, curry and saffron during treatment. Brush thoroughly and consult your dental professional about suitable whitening products if required. Any staining can usually be removed during a professional dental cleaning.
